I went to this new place called Canne's tea house this evening. It seems like a few college students running the whole tea house, kinda creative way of making business. When you walked in, you can see japanese style sitting and the environment is so relaxing. There are card games and books for you to enjoy with friends while enjoying your meal. They have snacks, tea, ice-cream and main dishes like rice and noodles. Simple yet modern!

Busy Bangsar
Can you identify the man in the shop? If you see closer, that's the PM and his wife choosing some glasses. It was 7pm when suddenly there was a chaos in bangsar. At first I thought it was a robbery, but when I got closer, I saw policemen and bodyguards of the PM. Everyone was looking from afar.
Well, it was my second attempt to try out Haagen-dazs buffet ice-cream at bangsar but it was so packed with customers. At first, they asked us to write down our contact numbers just in case they have seats available. However, we didn't hear from them since. The system of seats allocations was so messy, making many people waiting their turns. We waited from 7pm but till 9pm, we were still waiting. So, we decided to go somewhere. Where seats were limited, these people just took their own sweet time sitting around. If only they were more efficient, they would've made more customers. The promotions end tomorrow, perhaps that's the reason of the crowd. There you go again! Twice bitten, thrice shy.

Sunday night
The clouds are thick,
the rains are heavy,
my heart is sick,
like being pierced slowly.
I ponder tonight,
if there's some light,
with warmth inside,
and someone beside.
The night has come,
but the moon is shy,
and my heart is numb,
but I do not know why.
To you I confide,
as my mind feels unrest,
no rules I abide,
as I feel depressed.
Sunday night sunday light,
I wish upon tonight,
to clear my sorrow if you might,
so I never need to hide.

Stranger on the street
Have you seen this guy (right) before? I saw him waving for passing vehicles in a secluded place while on my way home. At first I didn't stop but later when I realized that the sky was getting more cloudy, I decided to make a detour and offered him a ride. I was worried that he won't be able to find a roof when it rained. As I myself would not like to be put in that kinda situation. He looked decent. Then, he came up to my car. I drove him to the mainroad. We had a small conversation in the car. Then, he told me that he was a contractor who lost his money sometime ago and had no money with him. He asked for some cash. I was really not feeling easy with this but I gave him a few RM. Then, from a distance after I left him, I saw him asking a passer by again. He was still asking RM from others. I wonder if my decision to help him was right (giving a ride). Nevertheless, what is done cannot be undone. It was just the situation that made decision on that time. So, will you give a ride to a stranger?

Life As We Thought
To some it may be perished,
As we think it may be gone,
A life may have been born.
Today, I have experienced 2 extreme incidents. While attending at people mourning for death, I was celebrating for new births. How many of us do really know about life and death? This lady had fought almost 1 and half hours before passing away after all the children and close relatives got beside her on time. Her condition was so bad that I thought she might not have survived for 30 mins but surprisingly she did for 1 and half hours after one by one the family members turned up. And then, finally, she was gone. It was a commotion until at one moment when everyone had to accept the fact that she was gone. I don't know her nor her family but I think she had accomplished what she wanted, that is to have her family beside her at her last breath.

On the other end, I have seen the most births today. It's such a joy to welcome new lives on earth. Babies are so innocent and giving birth is a great event! You see people smiling being a parent and sigh a relief after gone through an ordeal of giving birth.
I walked through a small park at 7am this morning and smelt the cool breeze as it was raining last night. I was having a mixed emotions after a tough night thinking about life. I saw this huge flower stood gracefully above my head. So, I took the picture and then put on a little smile on my face. Life afterall is not as bad. Then, I walked away embracing a whole new day of work.

Bukit Beruntung
I went to Bukit Beruntung this morning. It is a small town and considered as an industrial area. At first I was reluctant to go because of its distance from the town. However, after being there, I was captured by its simplicity. The people are nice and easy. The smile of one particular kid just caught my attention and I still thought of her. It's a waste that I was not able to take her pictures or other pictures in this place coz I was busy the whole day. Perhaps, one day when I go back again, I would take more beautiful pictures. At the moment, this blog has some problems downloading pictures. So, this entry is not accompanied with pictures. Will try again later this week!

GubrA

I just watched Gubra on tv. It's supposed to be the sequel of the film SEPET. I watched the whole sepet but there were some story lines hanging in the air. Well, I can't really figure out about Gubra. I have to admit that I watched only the second half of the movie. There were so many question marks playing in my head. Some story lines just ended without an ending. It's abit frustrating having to think what's gonna happen next when there was no ending. Most part of the story portrayed unhappy events. Besides some funny dialogues, the songs played wrapped the story nicely. This movie was shown in 2006. What do you think?

Why still everyone on holiday??
It's still quiet on the road today. I just called up the national library, and guess what! I called yesterday at 530pm, there wasn't anyone picking up. I called again today, and enquired when did they start working? Surprisingly, they told me yesterday! As I know, they opened till 7pm on weekdays. Then, they said that they closed at 430pm yesterday. Hello.... as a goverment institution, how can one decide to work at their own expense? 3 out of 4 canteens in my working place are still not opened up till today! Oh, come on. Holiday is holiday and working is working. Be professional. How can they expect people to follow their time of working when they are so unpredictable? It's really testing one's patience. Breathe in, breathe out. C'est la vie. That's life here! Anyone wanna say something? Waiting...

Quiet town
It was quiet on the road on Monday. So soothing driving to work without self-stressing secondary to heavy traffic. Surprisingly, the traffic today is still smooth flowing. I heard the school holiday is still going on. Perhaps that's why my friends and colleagues are still in their hometown after celebrating the recent festival. Alright, it's been a very tiring day for me today. Time to rest more before the battle begins again coming morning!

Sunday Cruise, Monday Blues
Roads in KL were quiet today. Though it was raining since afternoon, the evening breeze was so soothing. While cruising along the road on Sunday night, I especially like listening to light and easy as they play jazz and slow musics all night long. Together with the evening breeze and quiet road, it feels so nice and relaxing. It's like being in a country side. For the past 2 days, I was abit stress thinking of working on Monday as it is a public holiday. Imagine working the whole day till the next day while everyone's relaxing at home. But it feels better after I played some squash in the afternoon today. I think I really need to get back to my routine sports playing though I was busy at work. I need more motivation, and I want to work towards a healthier lifestyle and no more excuse of putting my health aside just because I am busy at work. Alright, Monday blues, here I come and I know I will survive it.

Quiet day
It was a cold morning when I gotta wake up for work today. Though it's friday, the atmosphere was so quiet. The road was not congested but smooth flowing, lesser people coming for work and most restaurants were closed. It feels like a weekend. Yes, indeed like a weekend. Time passed so slowly and I began to fall asleep. It was cloudy the whole day. Perhaps it's nice for travelling. I heard over the radio that the highway was congested with vehicles. People must be rushing back to their hometown to celebrate the coming raya. And as for me, I have to work on Monday though it's a public holiday. Brr.... so sleepy

Wrong time, wrong place and meeting the wrong people
How many of you have experienced being at the wrong time, wrong place and meeting the wrong people? Yesterday was a delighted day because many nice surprises occured towards the end of the day. Just within 24 hours, my world had gone up side down. I was at work. While attending to a particular work, I went out to get some equipments. Upon walking out, I saw a co-worker who needed a favour. Being busy at that time, I looked around if anyone could help but none. So, I attended to her and she asked me to do a task in her favour which was informing someone regarding a case from my department. So I did. In performing the task of calling that person, I found myself talking to a rude person. The longer the conversation went on, the more confused it became. So, I decided to end the conversation to avoid further confusion by both parties. At the end, I was blamed for helping a co-worker in conveying the message. I was told not to do so as it was not within the scope of my work.
If only I did not go out to salvage some equipments that time, if only I did not pass by that place, if only I did not meet my co-worker, then I could have avoided the whole ordeal of speaking to a rude guy and being blamed! Looking at these 3 important factors, some were not as fortunate. Many of a time that we hear in the newspaper that some people were at the wrong time, wrong place and meeting the wrong person ended up paying with their lives. This includes the high profile police cases. And often people will ask, what if the victim was not at the incident site, would the story be different? I believe it is fated. I kept asking myself today why was it me and not others? Possibility is that, it was meant to be. If we know everything that will happen, then will there be surprises and miracles in the world. Wouldn't the world be more colourful and fun with surprises. Perhaps, whatever happened today and whatever consequences that might occur, it is part of my life journey. It's like a road being pathed ahead. Would I walk probably or not, would I walk faster or slower, it's all up to myself as the path is already there. The only thing we can do is to pray for guidance so that we can arrive at our destinations smoothly. So, I will still keep my fingers crossed on the coming days ahead.

Roots of a tree
What can you see from this picture? This picture was taken during one of the exhibitions held in a hospital. It was drawn by a patient. It captured my attention mostly because of the black and white theme that the painter used and the demonstration of his emotion of that time. I have forgotten about the name of this picture.

Wedding dinner
Hola! It was a hectic week. Besides busy working, I had to attend a wedding function over the weekend. Within a month, I have attended 2 different wedding functions. Both are Chinese weddings. Nice and simple. Never could I deny that time flies superbly fast. Anyway, speaking of wedding dinner, Chinese wedding dinners are usually held in Chinese restaurants.
One wedding dinner I attended last month was held in PJ. It was a typical wedding dinner with greetings from attendees. Then as the event moved on, pictures of the bride and groom were shown over the tv screen. It was one of the peak moments where people were really paying attention as the pictures shown were childhood pictures till adults. Many people laughed not out of stupidity but reminding everyone of how an innocent looking child was brought up as a person today. It's cute and nice. I remember seeing this when my brother got married. How we grew up so quickly! So, I have gotta say that wedding dinner is getting very creative nowadays.
Then, there is another version of wedding dinner I attended. It's like a karaoke session where relatives and friends are invited to sing, sing and sing. But I could see there were 2 distinct groups of people giving different response. While the young sang, the older group of people were like falling asleep. Might be due to the loud noise from the amplifier and not forgetting that the night runs late. It was a loud dinner compared to the previous one. Nevertheless, both ended with a happy wedding. So, how would you like your wedding to be?

Work, work, and work
I know that everyone has to work. But it's been a tough month working. Considering if you need to work for more than 24 hours non-stop or 36 hours one go for every other day. Any insane person will tell you that the idea is crazy. Not only you are physically exhausted, but mentally and emotionally as well. Surprisingly, many survived it in Malaysia. Or shall I say: Malaysia Boleh? again??? Alright, I know that the holiday seasons are around the corner, but there are still many people out there who will need to work on holidays. Does that reflect the spirit of service above oneself? I doubt. Who really wouldn't want to be around of their friends when everyone has got a holiday to meet up? Who wouldn't want to take this opportunity to take a break from the daily hectic life? Who wouldn't want to enjoy the meaning of each celebration? And the only time they could take leave is whenever the rest of the people are working. So? What do you think?
Anyway, that's something to ponder about. Ok, it's beddy time again as work still continues tomorrow...
