SUDOKU

This is my book of sudoku:-

1 year ago, I browsed through the newspaper and I saw these little boxes, and I thought, what are these? Then I flipped over the page.

1 month ago, I heard bout these boxes and how popular it was, and I still had this big question mark hanging on my mind. I decided, whatever.

1 week ago, while browsing books in a book shop, I saw these books with these boxes, and I think.... what?! Not again.. The books were like whispering back to me: pick me up and you will get hooked up! What a challenge! You think I dare not?! Btw, I am not schizophrenic, hehe... just imagining a lil' bit. But I was busy, so I say, excusez moi. Gotta pass you for other important stuff..

Then, 1 day ago, I went to the same book shop trying to get my monthly health magazines. Guess what, these millions of lil' boxes just wouldn't let me go easy. It's like a harassment! So, I decided it's time to deal with them. So, nonchalantly, I lifted one up. Ok, I'll try you, hehe...
Later....I really got hooked up. It's like Maths, although I am not a great fan of Maths coz it uses alot of the brain, so my quota of 10% better reserved for something else. But this is more of strategy, planning and executing. It's pretty interesting. You get even high when you accomplished each mission. I have done a few. You can lift up the challenge by timing every attempt and also upgrade the level of sudoku.

Ok, maybe you don't understand what I was saying. Grab one and you are going to like it-quote from a not-so-keen-for-Maths-kinda-guy.

Basic rules:
The puzzle is a 9x9 grid, made up of 3x3 subgrids called 'region'. Some cells already contain numbers, known as 'givens'. The goal is to fill in the empty cells, one number in each, so that each column, row and region contains the numbers 1-9.
Try one out in the newspaper!

Sweeney Todd

I have watched it. What bout you?

I am always a fan of musical pictures because they are more artistic and it's not easy. However, I don't deny that some are boring.
This time around, Johnny Depp is acting in this musical picture called Sweeney Todd, just in case you don't know. He is rather a versatile actor, that's why I enjoy watching his movies. He has this eerie look, and kudos! coz he looks absolutely different offscreen. It's kinda funny coz he always chooses pictures with lots of make-ups, ie:pirates of the caribbean, the chocolate factory, etc.

Ok, let's speak about this movie:

I like it coz it's a musical picture. I don't like it coz some choruses repeat again and again.

I like it coz it's funny and full of suspense. I don't like it coz it wasn't a happy ending, hehe.

I like it coz its beautiful background and costumes. I don't like it coz there wasn't a clear ending. So, what happened to his daughter???

I have to mention here as well that this movie is labelled as 18PL, which involves alot of elements not suitable for children below 18 yrs. But I really find scenes which are yeikksss coz you see him cutting off people's throats repeatedly.

Overall I find it interesting coz the ending was totally unpredictable. I am fine with that horror part. I like the casting and story too but really...not the ending part. I just don't see another sequel coz there can't be one without the demon barber, Mr.T. So, what happened to the rest? Hmmm... something to think about.

More pictures adding to the touch!

Though I have to admit that this flower did not sit in a beautiful pond, but this close-up picture certainly makes this particular flower a star!

Mr.Crabby again! This is a bigger one resting under the scorching sun. In fact, it wasn't afraid at all when I approached.

Nice fishing boats in a calm seashore...

It's so relaxing to be around the crystal clear water. You can see right through the ocean, hehe..

Big rocks... when it's high tide, the water literally covers the whole rock, usually during the noon.

Unsung island...

Don't you wish everyday is a holiday!.... This is an island located at the northern region. Sometimes, it can't be found on the map! So, you could guess that this island is not spoilt by development yet, unlike those in pangkor, phuket, tioman, etc.

This is an amazing picture taken on the island!

When it's low tide, the sea literally retreats to the horizon.

This is another nice picture taken from a special angle.

This lil' crabby was lying in the sun and it's fun to play with coz they were really friendly and not afraid of ya!

Ohh....another nice sunset along the horizon. Look at the rocks and the effect of the sun.

How you'd wished everyday is a holiday eh!

How To Save A Life

I am very inspired by this song. If you have not recognized this song yet, it's actually the theme song of one of my fav medical dramas: Grey's anatomy. This song was written based on Isaac Slade's experience as a camp mentor for troubled teenagers. Then, there was a kid whom he was paired up with was a musician and there was no one could write a manual to save him.

Last week, I saw this very sick lady sitting on her bed. She was gasping, as if she was so hungry for air. Everything possible that could support her was put up but her condition still not improving. She was so distressed and desperate for help. I had this urge to help but what else can be done? She was later intubated and sedated. She is dependant on the machine now. Last night, when I saw her, she looked peaceful but deep down inside, I know she is still fighting.

This experience reminds me of this song literally, how to save a life? This song is rich with emotion and I almost played it everyday even at work throughout this week. So, I decided to share it with you guys! Ladies and gentlemen...The Fray

Ocean Blue...

Just another picture to soothe the day. The water always reminds me of tranquility. I find peace in water. It's raining since noon today. Can't find a nicer pool to swim about.

I have many encounters with water. When I swim, I swim deep. It's so quiet and the blueness filtrates all the unsightful colours. It's like everything moving in a slow pace. Forget about the stress. Just like yoga!

But there were times when I face hard time with water. I was almost sucked into the deepest ocean. So, it's always safe to swim near the beach and not away from the beach. Also, beware of the waterfall. One cannot estimate the depth when you play near the waterfall.

Nevertheless, I always find peace with water. The coolness relieves the heat and my headaches. I swam last week before I got busy again with my work. But I know, I will be swimming alot soon.....

A cuppa tea and me.....

The night was long and cool. The shower had just ceased outside and the ground was still wet. The yearn for a cuppa hot tea is so natural. There weren't many people around when the clock struck 10pm during the weekend. So, a freshly brewed hot tea and a book were good companions in an open fresh environment.

Nevertheless, work continued till the next sun rise....

BaBies WeRe BoRn to be BReaSTFed!

It's been sometime before I write again. I came down with 'stomach upset' for the past few days. In short, I wasn't well. So, I took the past holiday for a rest, yes, total day rest. My working schedule also occupied most of my time. On top of that, there wasn't any inspiration to write.

I spent this week mostly with my niece. She is merely 2 months old. I played with her when I got home. She looks so cute and funny. I have been taking care babies since a young age. I helped my mum to look after my lil' cousin sisters when I was in junior high, and then other babies when I was in senior high. So, I got used to with babies. But I wasn't a baby fan, nor a fan of babies, hehe. They all now have grown up beautifully, but I still find myself young, ehem.

So, I played with my niece and took care of her when my mum was busy. I also observed my mum taking care of her. I find that these days babies are very fortunate. They are so well taken care of. They are so precious! They wear the best, eat the best and rest at the best place. And yet, they look soooo innocent.

Recently, we read in the papers that young kids were being kidnapped and harmed. The previous case hasn't resolved yet, and another on the rising. Still, careless parents are not aware of the importance of not leaving their children out alone. Gone were the days where we could go out as a child alone. I remember that I went out cycling and going to the stalls at night when I was younger. But that cannot be taken for granted now. It's always better be safe.

So, to all the parents, please.....keep an eye on your children!
