So, I have just got back from a steamboat party. The skin is reacting to the heat I guess coz there are patches of rashes on the face now. The whole body is so tired. Not even well-packed. The past few days were busy ones. Didn't even realize the celebration is just around the corner. Time certainly flies.
Ok, a quick note, Happy Chinese New Year and time to go back hometown to meet family and friends!!
PS: This blog will resume once the author is back from the holiday! Yoohoo!!

Therapeutic Weekend
It was really a tiring but FUN weekend! May, Renie and Chun came over the weekend for a visit. We had such a fun time together. Well, since they flew all the way over the coast here, I was so obliged to be a generous host. At least I thought I was. Hehe.
We booked into a luxury resort and found ourselves hidden in the nature. It was May's B'day as well. We went eating some gorgeous clams with burnt coconuts, later proceeding to the beach for a lil romantic dinner. We had western and resting by the pub.
Then we headed to the store to grab some drinks (ehem..) and went back to the resort pleasuring ourselves. I was kinda tipsy the whole evening. Well, I didn't need the drink to make me one, but I was so exhausted that we took so many funny pictures under the influence of... someone, ahaha. Mind you, just funny pictures, nothing more. Quickly I dozed off while Chun was having the best ever bath soaking in the bath tub.
Next morning after a huge breakfast, we went for island hopping. And boy, we really hopped and hopped. Well, I am so glad that they liked the beaches so much albeit so-so for my thought. We sun bathed, swam, snorkeled and playing around. I was lobster red after the sun. Obviously, I had the most sensitive and thinnest skin among all. I like the colour now better, bronze. We stopped by the beach at the coast for sunset. And the view was spectacular, the sun directly at the coastal line but I guess the thin layer of cloud obscured the whole picture of the sun. Nevermind.
So, everyone was so hungry. We headed to the seafood restaurant and gosh..we ordered 2 kgs of crabs cooked in different tastes, 1kg of softshell crabs, 1/2kg prawns (it looked more like 1kg), 1kg clams, 1 big fish, and 2 veges! We ate all and yea, we were like so full, what ya think. The place was crowded but I guess it worth the wait.
We went back to the resort and after dressing up, we moved to the pub. Relaxing and chilling ourselves, we chatted for the night. It was so quiet and pleasant. We had more chats and drinks in the room. Very nice feel. Very nice place. And I won't mention again, coz everytime the family and friends come over, I'd bring them here.
The next morning we had a morning dip after the breakfast. Went to the beach and continued with the pool. They claimed that the sun here is so much hotter!! Well, you'd better ask for a sunny day than a rainy one. But so nice, throughout the journey, we had sunny weather. We checked out later and went to the shopping mall and wet market to do some shopping. The friends were like so enjoying buying so much dried seafood. Well, the host wud always bring them to the best places, hehe.
The friends had a plane to catch in the evening and after fetching them to the airport, I am back home once again, exhausted and the working day continues. Nice to have the frens over the weekend. And glad they enjoyed so much as well. Oppss.. what about pics? Well, let's see if I get some later.

Being emotional
Maybe I am simply tired and exhausted for the day. Work and meeting. This is gonna be an emotional entry. Sometimes it really felt sad. Sometimes you think you work so hard and yet you don't get the same opportunity like those who don't seem to deserve. And this is not something new. I sit here and ponder upon the dimming blue sky outside. Am I missing on something?
I was always very vocal during a meeting especially things dealing with my work. I made sure I did some homework before going to the meeting and raised whatever matters that I deem need improvement. But at times it left me speechless. It's kinda obvious that some parties who are sitting right above don't know what's actually going on at ground level. I guess that's the problem. When you don't go to the ground and understand their job, you won't understand the procedure. What you see is the result. And the results don't actually appear right in front just like that.
I am just tired. You won't see changes you are making now. You would see it in the coming generations. That's the only consolation I got from the other dept bosses. But who cares. I don't care. Or do I? I am becoming so undecisive now. Looking at other colleagues who just gone right up without much effort, and of course, I can't be complaining much. I don't recognize skin colour but I can't stop others from selecting their favourite colours.
The boss has left and now we are basically the headless chicken, ahahah. But I have always functioned independently. So no qualms. But the staff is another headache. Anyways, I am not gonna blab too long. I am tired again and again. Maybe it's my turn tomorrow. But I shall never simply give up.
I am so waiting for my holiday and shall hear some news soon. Until then, enjoy the evening.
