The holiday season is just around the corner as the people are slowly withdrawing themselves from the city itself. This time in particular, many are taking a long break from work in view of the on going school holidays and the coming public holidays. Christmas has become more commercially celebrated rather than religiously. The good thing about it is that everyone can have fun and celebrate it! It's all about gifts and hohoho.... So, I was asked once, what do I want for Christmas. I remember of getting a gift from my mum, a toy when I was 10. It didn't last long. Many of my old stuff were thrown away because "they were old and space occupying".I saw madam that night, who was gasping to live in the presence of her crying children and wished I could have more TIME.
.
I spoke to Rian who defaulted her baby's treatment because she can't pay, and wished I could have HEALTH.
I heard how much hatred and anger Ade kept towards her friend when she confided in me and wished I could have more PATIENCE and COMPASSION.

I looked into aunty Sari's teary eyes when she told me about losing her sisters to cancer and wished I could have HAPPINESS.
.
I listened to Mimi when she told me she was hiding from her husband about giving away her baby outside wedlock and wished I could have FORGIVENESS AND ACCEPTANCE.
.
I chatted with missy, a single mother who was feeding her newborn baby and wished I could have COURAGE.
I read about riots going on everywhere in the country and wished I could have PEACE and EQUALITY.
.
After a long working hours today, I went out and literally saw birds flying in the sky, monkeys resting on the trees, bees buzzing around the flowers and wished I have more FREEDOM.
Then I paused as I saw the calendar. Christmas is drawing near. It hit my thought again and finally I've got the answer for that question. I wish for...

HEALTH, FREEDOM, COURAGE, PEACE, COMPASSION, ACCEPTANCE and most importantly... HAPPINESS
