of one of my fav medical dramas: Grey's anatomy. This song was written based on Isaac Slade's experience as a camp mentor for troubled teenagers. Then, there was a kid whom he was paired up with was a musician and there was no one could write a manual to save him. Last week, I saw this very sick lady sitting on her bed. She was gasping, as if she was so hungry for air. Everything possible that could support her was put up but her condition still not improving. She was so distressed and desperate for help. I had this urge to help but what else can be done? She was later intubated and sedated. She is dependant on the machine now. Last night, when I saw her, she looked peaceful but deep down inside, I know she is still fighting.
This experience reminds me of this song literally, how to save a life? This song is rich with emotion and I almost played it everyday even at work throughout this week. So, I decided to share it with you guys! Ladies and gentlemen...The Fray
