At one point when family members were asked to wait outside, he retaliated. He refused treatment. He refused orders. He fought with the very last breath he had, so that his sons could be by his side. That moment, strange but true, touches me. I have seen people with family who careless bout them. I see family who pretends to be overcautious when only someone falls sick. But what moved me this time was the sincerity of human beings. A value which is unmeasurable but could only be felt.It was as if they understood each other perfectly well. They knew they need each other no matter what. And that's the vow that every son or wife has made to her man. Amazingly, they were calm. They weren't angry that their father was ill. Unlike the others, who got so frustrated and blame everyone but themselves for the sick of their family members.

I was told by a friend that there was a man who got divorced because of his mother. This is not the typical movie that we watch. In fact, his dedication in taking care of his chronically sick mother had neglected his own marriage. This kinda filial piety is so rare nowadays. That's why I still think that there are really genuine nice people existing in this world.
I do feel priviledged to be able to see such kind of people. Unlike those people outside the world who pretend to be nice just to take advantage of others or nice just at certain circumstances.
So, while he was catching his breath and the sons were reading prayers beside him, I solemnly whispered so that my family will always by my side whenever I needed them.
