A very BIG HELLO! A voice from afar. Since arriving to this new place, life has been hectic: from adjusting to this new environment to the work responsibility that being placed on my shoulder. A sudden shift of position is definitely challenging but the limitations sometimes can be very stressful. Since day 1, I have started working most of the time till the very moment I write this blog. Sometimes, I catch some breaths in between and then move on with life. But I am sure there are people out there who can understand this plight, and with a sigh, move on to another blog entry.
Meeting the people here is very interesting. I did not realize that there were actually other languages existed in this country besides the very few common languages. In addition, 1 newspaper here written in 3 different languages. The experience I got so far tells me that people here always demand for respect. It's a vice versa thing. You respect them, they will respect you. If you act bossy to them, they can really turn into a hulk. Practically, they are very humble people and fun to joke with. But if you messed up with them, ehem....trust me, you won't want. Otherwise, life can really be harmonious.
This lil' town is so free and easy. Everyone basically knows everyone, although people are still figuring out where was this alien coming from. I am trying to go out as much as I could but my work is the biggest pull back. One fine saturday, I went to stroll along the wondrous hillsides. Very green, too green that you don't know where is your next destination, hehe. Well, imagine driving along these hills while listening to your radio, it's like the 70's in California country side except that the field here is green than brown.
There is just too much to write, but I am glad that there are still readers visiting this blog. Perhaps next time, I will be able to put up some nice pictures here. That would be soon. Until then, do imagine yourself in the country side, then you know what I mean.
It's a special day in a foreign place today, when the Sun shall rise again.
