He was just 14. An age where other kids are enjoying schooling life and so. But that afternoon, fate had got him into an accident. A fate that led him to a very traumatic account. And speaking of fate. Whether it really lies on His hands, or in the hands of the human themselves. It's a doubt again.
He was bleeding profusely from every corner of his head. For 6 hours, that's plenty of time and plenty of blood gone. Recall how much of blood in the body getting out of the system, for a logical mind, if the bleeding continues, there's no point of keep putting in blood. Coz what goes in, will go out eventually, and what else if the bleeding is like a running tap.
It took him another hour for the bleeding to slow down. But guess it's a little bit too late. A point where nobody could tell if any changes made earlier would have a better outcome. But fate claimed his life, or most probably if he made it, that would be a miracle.
It was like a scene in ER, except that everyone was running here and there, but not to him. ironic isn't it. A scene where people if not running, were just looking at him from a far, not even placing a finger on him. Or was that an ever ER scene besides the 2 paramedics attending to him? Another doubt. It would make a lousy ER drama afterall, cause there's so less urgency or anxiety in the faces of those wearing white coats.
In the eyes of everyone that night, it's just another life. What? Yes...just another life. But is his life less precious than you and mine? Third doubt. Look. He's just 14, there's hell lots of life ahead of him if he ever made it. He might even change the world, or become the next PM. Or at least think for one moment, he is someone's child, who was being nurtured for the past 14 years. Be it gd or bad, there were loved ones waiting outside. Ok, that's abit of drama there.
Again. Sometimes I wonder what if tomorrow never comes.
