This morning Amy decided to drop by the town to have her hp fixed. She called me up and I went to fetch her at the bus station. Indeed, I had an appointment with Maz coz he needed a favour from me, so I stopped by the office before proceeding to the hp shop.
Amy waited at the hospital entrace which is nearby the office. She bumped into her other colleagues at the hospital and apparently, they were visiting an ailing officer Riz. He was diagnosed with terminal cancer last year and his prognosis wasn't that well.
So, she went along and saw the crying wife and the semiconscious officer. She left with teary eyes. When I saw her again, she told me about the whole thing. An hour later, she received the news that the officer had passed on. The rest of her teammates didn't make it to visit him on time but she did just right before he passed on. If only I weren't gonna stop by for Maz, she would've followed the rest to visit him later in the evening and missed seeing him while alive.
Sometimes things happened when it's meant to be. I am slowly learning to understand about destiny. I used to be pushy and tried every corner to make things work but eventually they don't and ended up with a huge disappoinment. I think I am gonna adopt a more relaxing approach. Life is afterall too much stressors.
Addie is discharging tomorrow. I am glad to hear that and let's see if she would take care of her health which I am a lil skeptical. It's time to learn to be healthy, addie!
Freddie, please get well soon. I am sure you are gonna be fine. Just rest abit when you are in the hospital later okay.
To all the gentlemen and ladies out there, life is full of stress. All the best in your undertakings!
Alright, off to bed now.
