Sunny Day

Just wanna make a simple comment on what's going on today.

The whole morning was working at the substation which was 45 mins away from the office. Then we had a simple tea and group discussion. In the pm, I had to rushed back to give a talk in a nearby agency which had invited me back again for this particular talk to a larger crowd. I was late but trust me, we were traveling fast under the scorching sun.

I literally told Kelv that I would be 'char sau' (bbq pork) in no time, hehe... But it was really hot and the van that I traveled had no aircond(broken down). So the hair was basically messed up by the time I arrived at the agency. I was so thirsty. Being late, I quickly went to the seminar room and ppl were waiting. Really exhausted. So, I started speaking. And there were moments of thought-block. Suddenly I paused in the middle of the presentation. I was not nervous at all coz I was really tired and couldn't concentrate. Anyways, I pulled it off just by the margin, I guess. As long as ppl understand, that's more important.

I lost my voice in the end. Rested a while at Ray's room and quickly took 2 cups of water from the dispensary. The office didn't disturb me, I was kinda surprised, mmm...Not until I called back. "Oh, I tried msging you, didn't you read it?"the assistant replied. #$@@# I was like arrggghh, ... how could I read when I was doing the talk! 2 clients were waiting for me at the office and it's already 4pm!! So the driver came and fetched me back to the office. And then, 2 letters came in. 1 wedding invitation and another a talk invitation for this Friday (another last minute.Ppl, can't they just respect my time and inform earlier?) Probably I won't be going for the talk. We are having a camp in one of the substations this Friday. So...

Then, I was late for training. Arrived at 5.30pm, ppl were waiting and then we started lor. My throat is still dry and feeling numb after the talk. It's really exhausting. The bottom layer of the sport shoes came off partially, meaning need to be repaired lor. See... I didn't expect to be so busy today but trust me, everytime I brought a book to the office (just in case I have time to read), I just won't have the time to read. I told the assistant yesterday about this. It seems to be true!
